Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Directed by Maureen Lukie

Les Liaisons Dangereuses
Mme de Merteuil and Viscomte de Valmont are aristocrats, living in 18th century France. They are also former lovers locked in a battle of wills, with sex as their greatest weapon. Valmont is determined to seduce the most virtuous woman in France. Mme de Merteuil promises to renew their old affair if he can bring her proof that he has done so. Their games destroy the lives of those they touch, but for both of them there is also a price to be paid.

Don't Dress for Dinner
By Marc Camoletti, adapted by Robin Hawdon
Directed by Derek Dorey
Produced by Maureen Lukie
Don't Dress for Dinner
Bernard is planning a weekend with his chic Parisian mistress, Suzette. He has arranged for a cordon-bleu chef, Suzanne, to prepare some gourmet delights, is packing his wife Jacqueline off to her mother's, and has even invited his best friend Robert to provide the alibi. What could possibly go wrong? Suppose Robert turns up not knowing why he has been invited? Suppose Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers? What happens if the chef is mistaken for the mistress, and the mistress is unable to cook? An evening of hilarious confusion ensues as Robert and Bernard improvise at breakneck speed.

The Dover Road
by A. A. Milne
Directed by Jeff Burke
The Dover Road

From the author of "Winnie the Pooh" comes this whimsical comedy for adults. The year is 1922. Somewhere on the Dover Road, which illicit couples take to elope to France, there is an extraordinary house whose mysterious host often welcomes (intercepts?) couples upon their way. On this night, he detains a middle-aged man and his young mistress. Already in the house are another couple - a woman and her young lover - who have been there a week. As the men fall prey to "inconvenient" illnesses, both couples are given time to figure out what they are getting themselves into... and how to get themselves out!
